Bridal Shows and Expo's

Each season we attend a number of bridal shows as a vendor: wedding officiants and interfaith ministers. It is a unique service to find at a bridal show. There are always many DJs, photographers, florists, limousine services, and so on but often we are the only officiant or minister.

It is a great opportunity for us to meet brides and grooms in person and to talk about possibilities for their wedding ceremony. Couples who are getting married at at a venue, indoors or outdoors, formal or informal, large or small weddings are our potential clients. I’m always excited to share with them how we customize their ceremony so that it will be exactly as they want it to be. We explain that we can include family members and friends, use elements that are unique to that couple, and include cultural or ethnic traditions or rituals. We set up a meeting with them to begin co-creating their ceremony. Each couple we work with has the opportunity to sit down with us and talk about their ideas. If they are unsure about how they would like their ceremony to be, we help them discover the possibilities and select elements that are meaningful to them.

Bridal shows and expo’s are so much fun. I like positive responses from brides and couples. Some are excited to have found us since they didn’t know where to look for someone to officiate their wedding.

It is always a pleasure and great joy to be chosen to officiate a couple’s wedding ceremony. We support them in creating their own personalized ceremony. For a short time we are intimately connected. And, if a couple wishes, connected for a lifetime as a counselor and friend. Then they go on their way to a new life together and we go on to connect with another couple.
